There is no certain rule that you must follow. But I personally find that minimalist, landscape, pictures that describe event needs to be of a certain size, it ‘pushes’ the audience away from it to appreciate it. However, if there are interesting details that you want draw audience to study closely, make it small.

Black & white is growing in acceptance among art enthusiasts and decorators alike. It is more adaptable to various styles. It could give more food for thought to audience.
